EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Saleutions office is based in Melbourne Victoria.

We are currently looking for experienced handknitters, crocheters, freelance designers, pattern writers and Product developers to work from home and assist in our design and development process if you have the skills listed below please feel free to send us your details.

Handknitters & Crocheters:

Must be experienced in many styles of knitting and be happy to work with a variety of yarns.
Have sufficient experience to work from a printed pattern, and be able to pick up minor errors in the pattern if they exist.
Payment based on yarn usage.
Must be able to work to deadlines.

Freelance Designers & Pattern writers:

Must be aware of current trends and styling in handknit & crochet design.
Must be able to provide accurate garment/item specification for pattern writing and or have the ability to also write patterns, being aware of the variation between Aus./UK & US terminology.
Have access to email, and an advantage if you are based in Melbourne, as meetings in our office may be required.
Payment is based on complexity of design or concept.
Must be able to work to deadlines.

Product Developers:

Would be required to develop products and concepts specific to the handcraft industry, including retail ready full module concepts.
Have the ability to conceptualise and present initial ideas and also be able to follow the concept through to finished art.
Have a keen interest and understanding of the hand craft industry, specifically yarn.
